A-F are all there except for E. Why is that?

Actually, many schools use 'E' instead of 'F'. I've gone to 2 such universities.

There are some schools that use "E"
and it just seems that an F is more degrading to a student.
It might also just stand for Failing.

It's not meant to be so much alphabetical.

It could be "P" or "F" (pass or fail).

Pass was expanded into ABCD, or various levels of passing.

So you can pass with an A, or B, or C, D - various levels - or you can fail (F).

Why would there need to be? It seems kids are way too lazy today. To me, anything less than a B is garbage anyways.
