When I breath in through my nose my nostrils close up. Is this normal? Am I weird?

No Eva, I just think you have rather flappy nostrils.

Thats why your abnormal and weird all roll into one called evil Eva...your nostrils close up from constant fingers picking at them...just kidding... it normal for people with soft nostrils nothing weird about it.

My nostrils contract slightly but even if I inhale through my nose as hard as I can they don't close completely. Have you broken your nose? That might have caused it.

mine open wider. It's likely a concious control. You many need to practice flairing your nostrils while looking in the mirror until it becomes more natural.

Sounds like you're congested. Typically it should be clear when taking a breath.
