Childhood trauma.
1) A child has not yet developed the sophisticated defense mechanisms necessary to properly deal with mental stress. With only primitive fight / flight responses, a child is often deemed helpless in buffering the Self from traumatic experiences. In situations where the child cannot fight or flight...dissociation is the only viable way out.
2) Dissociation is a splitting of the self. Logically, most people enjoy being in their skin except when it feels unpleasant. Since dissociation involves a major disconnect from the body, respectively it would necessitate an equally major unpleasantry (i.e. trauma).

ok first in case you're writing a e book over this, I propose no longer in line with "solutions" for you counsel, because of the fact human beings will say something approximately something. yet specific that's led to by making use of a chemical inbalance and hence why drugs is significant. There are analyze that time out a correlation between kinfolk historic previous and dissociative id sickness- suggesting a genentic impact. however the main effectual correlation propose that the main reason is repetitive nerve-racking formative years activities over a protracted volume of time. (continued chilhood actual or sexual abuse). besides the certainty which you won't be able to o.k. cite me a relyable source for a e book and that i won't be able to grant you an actual quotation of ways i understand understand this... purely 7 years of undergrad and graduate psychology classes... so analyze it

Lucky3 has the answer and is right on as far as what causes dissociative disorders-a very succinct explanation that hit the nail on the head. All I would add to that is that we are biologically programmed to respond to traumatic events by either fighting, fleeing or freezing as these are adaptive behaviors from an evolutionary perspective when we are threatened with dangerous situations. (Children can neither fight nor flee and are completely helpless, thus their only escape is psychic detachment, either from themselves completely or from their physical body)) When this happens to a person repeatedly, the brain literally becomes "wired" to respond to threats and triggers automatically, and thus the symptoms associated with dissociative disorders including hyperarousal and numbing become preprogrammed. (Cortisol is released when we are threatened, causing the hyperarousal-repeated exposures to traumatic circumstances result in excessive cortisol production and we become "primed")
Add to this the biological need to maintain attachment in early childhood to one's caretakers in order to survive and you have the basis for the most severe dissociative disorder-DID-where the only possible survival strategy that allows you to maintain attachment to those who are also threatening you is to split them and yourself psychologically. The development of alter parts becomes a survival strategy for those who are faced with the conflicting need to attach and to flee/fight abusive caretakers (known as ambivalent attachment to the perpetrator).
The response to trauma is natural, but repeated exposure to trauma is not natural and thus it is the reason we develop dissociative disorders.

any sort of depression can be tide over by faith in GOD and sincere prayer.
Your prayer is from your heart. Further You must have to understood the fact that God is present in our heart. This can be realised in meditation. Further we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.
