last night i huing out with this girl that i havent seen in a while and we were just friends when i knew her before. we hung out all night from like 3pm to almost midnight. when i went to drop her off at her house we talked for a while then started making out. it lasted almost 10 minutes and after we were done i told her goodbye and she said she would call me tomorrow. the next morning she called and i hung out with her and some friends for a little bit but when i dropped her off nothing happened. im pretty sure it was my fault nothing happened because i didnt even try to make any move on her. anyway now i want to know if i have doomed myself to friend status by not kissing her or anything..

"only a friend" "doomed yourself"

DUDE. NO.

you make it seem like its the end of the world to be friends with someone you like...
if you like them, your purpose is to make them happy, right?
and the best way to do that is being friends with them, and being freinds first totally strengthens your future relationship

even if youre never gonna be with her, consider yourself lucky to be her friend

Well only you were there to read her body language to know if she wanted you to kiss her. Maybe next time you see her be very subtle in how you say goodbye, lean in to give her a friendly hug, a little kiss and just take it from there and see what happens.

Totally didn't even read the explanation paragraph. Already know the answer. Not even going to say it. Too obvious. Good luck!

No. You're more than a friend to her but I'm sure she is wondering why you didn't kiss her.

She's probably thinking she must have done something that turned you off.

No you aren't, just try again next time. She may have just thought that you were too tired and wanted to go home.
