I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

It has been tried and true FOREVER. A diet low in fat, moderate in protien, and rich in fruits and vegetables is healthy for everyone.

The trick to dieting is in food intake. Our bodies use what it needs for energy and stores the rest. Also, simple sugars are used by the body for energy before any complex carbohydrates. That is because the body doesn't have to work to break them down in to energy, they are what the body uses for fuel. So, you have a huge cheeseburger and a huge regular coke. Your body will use some of the energy (calories) from the coke for energy and store whatever is left, along with all of the energy (calories) from the cheeseburger. A diet coke will leave the body no choice but to break down the cheeseburger for fuel. Yet, a thousand calorie sandwich will no doubt leave hundreds of calories to be stored as fat. Eat a salad and the body will get very little energy from it (unless you drown it in dressing). The body will have no choice but to turn to stored fat for energy. Do that enough times and you are losing, not gaining fat.

Vegetables are low glycemic foods - meaning they add very little to raise the blood sugar so, they are excellent in the fight against obesity. Add whole grains - like whole grain breads and cereals, brown rice, and oats, and you have the foundations of a very healthy diet plan. Fruits and milk can be combined with whole grains to slow and even out the bodies intake of the sugars they contain. Meats and or legumes assure that you are losing fat and not muscle mass, and about 100 calories of fat a day assures that essential vitamins are assimulated properly. You can eliminate sugar from your diet to enhance weight loss and make sure you drink 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water to eliminate waste.

Finally, make sure you go to your doctor for a check up before starting a weight loss plan. You will want blood tests done to detect any health problems you might have that could interfer with weight loss - like thyroid problems.

Find a friend who needs to lose a few pounds and join a gym together. Diet and exercise go hand in hand. Lowering the energy you take in and raising the body's need for stored energy is the key to weight loss success.

Good luck and happy losing!!!

I suggest that you try body cleansing. I tried it and really got lean quickly. I lost 15 pounds in 9 days and also 3 inches off my waist. I do body sculpting so getting leaner was my goal. My sister did this program too and she lost a lot of weight quickly. I did not know too much about cleansing but there are a lot of TV commercials about this stuff. This is a body cleanse and not just a colon cleanse, I wanted my body to get lean quickly and this did the trick! Catabolic foods. Personally, I ate grapes in place of any candy and desert and instantly lost 5 pounds in one week. Then I ran out of grapes, started eatting candy and sugar again, and gained the 3 pounds back. So I need more grapes. Yes. Grapes and lots of salads with little to no dressing. It'll help you fit into that dress you been dying to wear. XD

Make sure to eat a balanced diet. Lots of fruits, chicken breast, plain or homemade rice (not stuff with flavor packages you add). Water instead of juice, soda, diet-soda, gator aide ( you get plenty of calories from what you eat). Lo-cal, low fat, plenty of water, exercise. Just walking will do. Seafood.
