A guy I'm dating said it to me :) He has the tendacy to usually use spanish , so I guess he knows some french to. I don't know either obviously lol

in spanish it would be"buenas noches mi amigo".

Bon nuit mon amie means good night my friend for a female. In Spanish it would be Buenas noches mi amiga for a female. Someone else gave it as the masculine as amigo.

It's NOT Spanish, it's French. And it's "Bonne nuit, mon ami!"
It means: "Good night, my friend."
It's "bonne" because it's the feminine form of "bon".
As for "ami" you only spell it as "amie" when you're referring to a female.

It's 'Bonne nuit mon amie' = Goodnight (before going to bed) my (temale) friend. Next time he says it, reply in Spanish: '¡Buenas noches mi amigo!'
