Chanceli thou lovest to judge

I just asked a question.

I see that at least one has admitted hatred toward Christians. I do not hate any of you, but am interested in why we are hated.

It's hypocritical. It's not loving to believe that you're on the up elevator and others are going down. That's sick.

The concept that an eternal lake of fire awaits everyone who disagrees -- no matter how kind, loving, generous, charitable, or decent they were in life.

Edit: I don't hate Christians at all. But in my view, there is just no way to justify something like eternal punishment for disagreeing. If you think the word 'hate' is too strong to use, then fine, I'll say I strongly, strongly dislike that concept. Regardless, it's still the worst part of the religion in my opinion.

lets rather a lot easily relate this to the reliable Samaritan contained in the Bible. The Samaritans contained in the Bible were no longer everyday with the Jews, yet this Samaritan, understanding how the only he stumbled on damage became someone who did not like him, he nonetheless took the injured guy to an section the position he may be helped medically and paid the bill for him also. that is the example Jesus is giving us in reciting this. Jesus is affirming, no count number number how a lot someone hates you or is unkind or persecutes you or is your enemy, in case you hit upon this one in difficulty and also you are able to help, income this. Do regardless of the truth that you'll for the guy who's suffering in this global, no count number number what the fee. yet another ingredient of loving your neighbour as your self is doing each little thing you are able to to save the peace and get alongside with those round you alongside with neighbours, friends, etc. even as they don't shrink their timber down and they overhang your patch, flow the more suitable mile and shrink them for the neighbour. in case you spot they have forgotten to placed the garbage bin out, placed it out for them. Shovel their snow in the journey that they are elderly, furnish to shrink their backyard in the journey that they are ill, take a marvelous pie over to someone who's housebound, or furnish to stroll the dogs or do their procuring. those are belongings you wish accomplished for you, so do them for others even as they have desire.

I don't hate Christians, in fact I am married to one. Being an atheist has nothing to do with hate, it just means not believing in a God or Gods.

There is, throughout history, a predeliction of fear, anger and hatred toward people who are delusional. This is a simple biological defense mechanism. Delusion causes a maladaption in behavior which limits reproduction, including the reproduction of reason, logic and freedom.

Their objection is not to Christians, but weaselly, sniveling hypocrites who spew venom, and whose souls are so dark and shriveled that a raisin looks radiant in comparison, who have the audacity to call themselves Christians.

The tenants that Christ teaches are universal. He didn't make them up and, clearly, his followers aren't the only ones to abide by them.

If Christianity had never existed, there would be other philosophies and religions people would follow that would ultimately lead to the same message and conclusion.

Don't be so pompous as to think your religion is the end-all-be-all of humanity.

It's not.

Other societies throughout the world live prosperously and humanely having never heard of or followed Christ.

Theists, especially christians, try to control and restrict us based on their views. If all christians stop crusading against science, culture, art, sex and sexuality, religious freedom and such, and stop telling everybody else they're going to be tortured throughout eternity unless they join you, I assure you that you won't encounter nearly as much hostility.
