How do we know god is real? There is pain and death is life how can "God" let that hanpen? If there is a god what can I do to live my life? Do people belive in god just to have someone to count on? How can god help me be me? Is there even Proof god is real? Please help me!

I really don't know if there really is a god. Some people say he is real and some people say he's not. We are suppose to have pain and death because if we don't then what is the point in us living. I think that when you die a new person is born on earth so that person can have a life on this planet. When I die i'll be happy because I know somewhere on this earth I gave someone a place on this planet.

Honestly, I don't want to sound like a religious freak who just tries to get you to follow his religion. A lot of answers have been thrown at you. Proving that God exists is very difficult, considering the fact that He can't be seen. However, I have faith that He exists and faith alone. It makes sense to me, more so than evolution, that the world was CREATED and not spontaneously formed by particles. Are you open to Christianity or just curious? You are going to come across tons of people who will tell you different things, but if you trust that God is Lord above all, and that Jesus is the Savior of the World, I am sure that you will be blessed. Also, if you are willing, read John in the Bible, specifically John 14. It's great. I hope that I didn't come across as throwing religion in your face. Also, if you want try praying, maybe for your sick friend or your job, see what happens. He doesn't always answer, but praying does help make a case : ). Just start by saying "God i need your help" or something like that, He will help you even if you don't recognize it. Finally, I know I am getting long, but the best thing about Christianity and God, above all other religions or atheisms, is that there is always mercy and forgiveness nd love NO MATTER WHAT! In this material existence we are allowed to commit the worst crimes anyone can imagine. However, we still must pay the price. We will still get the karma. But, nature's way is to get around to inflicting bad karma when it is good and ready. So the bad karma might show up instantly or it may take many years. The consequence is that we wonder if karma actually exists. This helps us to keep the illusion that maybe karma doesn't exist, but then some may note that perhaps karma does exist since it seems the bad karma does come around sometimes.

Similarly, material nature allows us to lean in the direction of believing there is no Supreme Being, but then we notice that maybe there is a Supreme Being. So until we have achieved total spiritual enlightenment we have to struggle with trying to believe the Supreme Being exists despite the arguments of the atheists.

For some, God seems difficult to understand, and so in the name of material progress they choose to reject God. But, we cannot prove the Supreme Being does not exist. And though it is difficult to prove the Supreme Being "does" exist, we find it preferable to have faith that there is a Supreme Being.

To fear God is the lowest rung of understanding God and relationship with God. Fearing God can also be classified as approaching God in awe and reverence.

The trend is to forget God and even reject God in favor of so-called material enjoyments. But, are we really enjoying? We go against nature to enjoy and so we can get bad results for such so-called enjoyment.

For instance, we can take whatever intoxication we like, but we may then overdose and die or some other probem. Similarly, we may decide to have sex whenever, wherever and with whomever we like and then we could get venereal disease and even die.

So we need to advance to the level of fearing God. Once we have advanced to that level then the next really great level is to learn or reawaken our love for God.

He knows because he saw that the piece of clay was produced by someone who designed it, and shaped it, and had the intelligence to be able to heat it and produce the pot, and not only that, they also had the ability to colour it and make it look beautiful.

To the archaeologist the existence and intricacy of the piece of pottery is conclusive proof of the existence, intelligence and ability of the people who made it.

Look around you: at the beautiful sunset on a summer evening, at the moon and the stars on a cloudless night, at the water that you drink, at the trees and how they grow from tiny seeds.

Think about yourself: your eyes with which you see, your ears with which you hear, your tongues with which you taste and talk, your hands and your feet, your heart and your brain.

Consider how these things are so complex in themselves and yet work together in such perfect harmony.

From the movement of the galaxies to the complexities of the interaction of molecules, from the dynamics of eco-systems to the intricacies of DNA, all lead to the obvious fact of the existence of the great Wisdom, Knowledge and Power that allows our Universe to exist and function.

To any perceptive person the existence and intricacy of creation is conclusive proof of the Existence, Knowledge and Wisdom of the One who creates, organises and sustains it.

Most people naturally recognise the existence of the Creator, and we find reference to the Creator in all cultures and religions. Even the atheists, communists and (disbelieving) scientists cannot avoid this reality, but avoid the term 'creator', for phrases like 'Mother Nature' and 'the amazing way nature has designed...'

How strange in the face of this, that many today reject the belief in the existence of the Creator. Perhaps this is due more to fashion and the desire to justify a materialistic attitude to life rather than real observation and comprehension of reality.

Something stranger still, and perhaps another reason for the trend to deny the Creator, are those who claim that a man, or men, who walked on the earth, breathed air, who had bodies and souls subject to the Laws of the Universe, are the Creator, or manifestations of the Self-Subsistent One.

This is of course a complete contradiction in terms. Something cannot be the Creator and created at the same time, needing air, food and drink and being self-sufficient, being temporary and eternal!

If you are one of those who believe that a man such as Buddha, or Krishna, or Jesus is the Creator and Controller, then think again.

We were created from a drop of despised fluid, in which was a microscopic sperm, which in turn fertilised a microscopic egg and we grew in our mother's womb in stages predetermined, over which we had no control. We came from our mother's womb, urinating and defecating, needing constant attention and care. Without food we will die, without air we will die ... and then such a one is God?

Indeed any intelligent person would recognise exactly how dependant life, the universe and everything is on its Creator. Our dire need for His help makes itself plain in times of great distress.

Imagine yourself in an aeroplane and you know it is going to crash...

Who do you turn to for help then ?

Or on a ship in the sea, thrown helplessly up and down by towering waves ...

There will have been a situation at one time or the other in your life when you called upon your Creator alone, forgetting everyone and everything else, hoping, trusting, wishing that the Being you know in your heart and soul that has power and control over all things would help you. The only One you know can save you!

God is real. You only have to know how to get in touch with Him and enjoy His communion. Death and pain shall continue to affect all of us but there is also joy and fulfilment. In every darkness there is light and in every light there is darknes. Its a Yin and Yan. Allow God to work in you. God is real and Jesus is real.......Prayers to God and Jesus is the only way to get demons out of a person or to go back to hell and that's your proof. Indian shaman's do the same ritual. Perhaps watch the documentary show "A Haunting" on the discovery channel.

well the best answer to ur fourth question is a man always feels a need for someone who is very strong and always helps him. in communist countries now ppl r leaving their old thoughts behind and they say that we do feel a need of GOD or who will ever help us when we need it.
in my own life i have seen this that there were many ppl who were helpless and no one was helping them on their prob but they kept their faith in GOD and their prob got solved in such a way that they never expected it to b. u will feel it urself when u pray GOD that someone is listening to u and u will feel the satisfaction but the thing is to concentrate and b neutral dont think its stupid just try it
