Well Lover Boy, look at yourself first, and ask yourself why an attractive female would want to travel with you.
You may have to lower your ideals !
Put an ad in the local paper, "Boy wanting big strong girl to help him go native."

Been there, done that, got the t shirt. If you want to travel with someone, it better be someone you know and like very well (because traveling with someone is tough on relationships)- if you don't have someone like that, meet them on the way.
