What else is there???? Are you kidding?

Hell is a Judeo-Christian idea. You're obviously worried about it or you would have answered your own question.

As to the "what elses?"
.....not fear of hell, but the human response to help out others for the sake of just helping someone. No other reason.
.... on a more primitive level, helping others preserves the life of the group. Elephants, dolphins, whales and other species help each other for the sake of survival of the gene pool.

I doubt seriously those species worry about an unseen hell.

I don't believe in hell because the bible doesn't teach the hellfire doctrine. Meanwhile, the reason you don't believe in hell (perhaps you don't believe in God?) could make you a person who doesn't care about consequences and therefore not an upbuilding associate. The consequence of sin is death, according to the bible. (Romans 6:23) You can't be dead AND have an immortal soul. Genesis 2:7 says that Adam came to BE a living soul. Remember, God told Adam that if he sinned he would return to dust.

Find out what the bible really teaches. Non-existence is as bad as it gets. To me, that's actually mortifying. The bible teaches that there will be a resurrection of the dead, but that right now, they're sleeping. Yes, some go to heaven, but most of God's people will inherit the earth.

Atheists are awfully under-represented in prison populations. I don't think you're a danger to anyone. Hell is a disgusting little fantasy that people cling to when they need to feel superior to others.

The is a hell. Hell originally was for Satan and his angels. But because man sined they would have to go to hell. God sent His Son to die in our place so we wouldn't have too. Those who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. We confess our sins God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.

Hell is real....

In Matthew 13, Mark 9, and Luke 12, the Lord Jesus says the unsaved are "cast INTO" or "go INTO" a place – a furnace or a fire. Clearly, He is not referring to a state of existence, but a real place of fire that lost people are "cast into."

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. . . .
. . .
49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 13

43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Mark 9

*But I don't fear it because i got Jesus in my heart and accept Him as my Saviour.*
