I cant really answer the question for you, but I can offer some options for you to think about. I have a degree in the philosophy of Nietzsche but I wrote a paper in college about this very thing. For a parent it's taking care of their children, for a man of the cloth its his eternal soul and serving his faith, for a teacher its making his students appreciate knowledge, as some would argue this could all be the same individual but to varying degrees I dont see it that way. Socrates said "the unexamined life is not worth living" so many people fail to do this which is why we are where we are now. Any way I know this wasnt what youre after so youll need to decide for yourself whats the most important thing to you in this life and then strive to attain that, but be careful how you arrive there "whomever looks long into the abyss, it also looks into you"

I don't think "life" has a meaning, per se.

I think my life has a meaning - and if I put it in a religious context, it's the section from Deuteronomy quoted by Jesus - to love God with all my heart and all my soul and all my being and to love my neighbor as myself.

In a non-religious context, to leave the world better than I found it.

Everything else seems to fit within those parameters.

This question has a million answers. It's the same as what's your favorite food, or color. Everybody has an opinion. For me, it's just to be happy, to love, to live my life in full, to experience everything I can, and not waste time full of drama just be me and have fun.
But it's different for everybody, you have to find out what you want out of life, and pursue it. What's the meaning of YOUR life? What do you want out of it? What don't you like about your life, change it! Do what you want, go have fun, just live your life how you want to.

you are triggering a very simply complex idea!
but if you want to embrace a general meaning of life, this would be "helping others and setting attainable targets to meet!"
it also includes in targets, all targets, postulates, wishes one puts up to achieve, sooner or later. but this also includes the target to get more and more spiritual, to get to know where one came from, where is...he now and where will he end up to...!
in short, this is the meaning of life!

If you beleive in God then it is to worship Him(worship means basically to live for) so make good choices to benifit all because Gods love is in you so you in turn love others if you dont believe then it is simply to die and make way for what ever comes next

Whatever meaning you give it. Whatever makes you happy, is right for you. No one else can tell you what makes your life worthwhile.
