Doctor told me that I have some liver problems but I shouldn't worry about it until I turn like 60 or something. I think that doctor was crazy to say that, over the phone by the way, but right now I can't afford another one. The blood tests cost a fortune! I paid 400 dollars to get my blood tested before and got that lame answer. Do you think I can go to the clinic, ask for the results and take them to another doctor?

If the yellow colour (jaundice) is evident in your eyes, it means you have a high bilirubin, and your liver is in bad shape. You need to have regular liver function tests and coagulation studies (your liver produces the clotting factors that make your blood coagulate) if there is a deficiency and you are injured you can loose large volumes of blood. You should seek a second opinion. PS the yellow colour can damage your brain in extremely high concentrations (kernicterus), but it is destroyed by UV light. Make sure you get some sun, and if the levels are high (ask the new doc) take a trip to the tanning salon.

For all the people that keep refering to hepatitis (the word literaly means "inflamation of the liver" (hepat-liver, itis-inflammation), there are many causes, Viral (Hep A, B, C, EBV etc), Autoimmune and chemical. If you don't already know the root cause, I have a nagging suspicion that you know, your new doctor should investigate, some of these causes are treatable, or transient, the others require supportive therapy (Medical Scientist)

Yes, as you are having symptoms of yellow jaundice. Go to the clinic tomorrow and get another doctor to help you. Also, if you have a University Hospital in your area, go there to the emergency room. These hospitals are teaching hospitals, and they will get you a specialist. You do not have any money, they will help you anyway. Hugs.

It can be a wrong diagnosis, so be honest and upfront with Dr. Nurses and people, they cannot help if they do not know the root nature or possible problem.

Don't take any-ones guess on here even if they can prove to you they are a doctor You need to see one to find out what it really is.
What it could be, as I have seen people with similar symptoms, is just perhaps you may have Hep C.
As when it gets to your liver it gives you jaundice.
Please see your doctor about this ASAP.

Because your eyes are yellow there is obstruction of the bile . It could be medical jaundice or surgical jaundice . So see a doctor at the earliest since it requires history of the case and physical examination laboratory investigations etc.

Yes, absolutely. Do it immediately and have your next doctor test for hepatitis. You will have to give another blood sample though. But find a way to get it done. If its Hep. can kill you.

Definitely. You may have jaundice. It means you probably are not getting enough fluids in your system every day. However, due to the fact that you are not a newborn baby-please get checked out asap. Take care.

I am almost convinced you have hepatitis. It can make your liver hardened. Gee GP in your country is very expensive. My advice is go to a chinese traditional drug store. They know what to give you. Trust me they are good and won't cost you fortune.
