Here's one for the ages. In high school, I was friends with a girl I had met in band. She was in band also and we quickly became close friends and eventually became best friends. I was secretly in love with her but never had the courage to tell her because she was always in a relationship. A year after we graduated she was finally single and took a leap of faith. She didn't feel the same. It ruined our friendship. So we moved on, I stopped all comunication and just moved on. Now five years later, she finds me on myspace and wants to become a friend so I say yes. By the time I knew it all was forgiven and became friends again. Now I find myself in the same spot again. She is single but I feel like we've truely grown up. I know I'm not giving up much details, but does anyone have any suggestions? Should I take another leap of faith and hope she catches me? Any advice is appreciated.

Ask if she has any interest in you beyond friendship. Don't force or demand, and for goodness sakes, threaten. Tell her you appreciate WHO she is, ane is there a chance for a deeper relationship?
If done correctly, there is virtually no chance of her being offended, unless you push. How could someone be upset by you telling her you appreciate her qualities?
There is a caviat, you MUST agree to accept her answer, (before she gives it), and if she just isn't interested in you that way, if you truely have her best interests at heart, you should/will continue to be her FRIEND.
or.....you could wait for her to ask you...

damn man that sounds crazy but the way i see it is, she is back in your life for a reason right? she found u and u accepted her as a friend so why dont u try and do this, instead of jus straight up telling her, why dont u try and find out how she feels about u. try takin her out on dates jus a friends, like the movies, minitaure golfing, comedy clubs ect. if she has feelings for u then she will give u signs that she does. if she doesn have any then after spending time with her she will start developing feelings for u. then when the time is right tell her how u feel but dont come on too strong cus u will scare her away. tell her lil by lil how u feel.

Dont jump. She doesnt have the same feeling towards you from the sounds of it. But if it's been 5 years people change and things change so I say jump if you love her A LOT.

Dude thats amazing.
How awesome would it be to date your best friend?
She knows you very well, you can have fun together, you probably trust each other, and most importantly you both can be yourselves around each other.
Talk to her about it.

Falling in love is for poor people and the stupid. It takes more than love for success....
