According to what I know,
1 body - the physical part
1 soul - the emotional part
1 spirit - I'm not sure how to describe it.
According to the Bible, Christians become spiritually alive upon receiving Salvation through Jesus Christ.

One body. For Christians it will eventually die and at the time of the rapture it will be caught up to God in heaven (along with all living believers in Christ), where it will be made new and perfect for eternity.
