Even though the neutralizing solution has closed the cuticle, it is not 100% closed. It will calm down and close completely on its own within 48-72 hrs. Also, since your hairdresser has no idea of you use a quality shampoo or not, a safe bet is to tell you to leave it alone so you don't srew it up. Using a cheap shampoo (one with a high ph level) could cause your cuticle to re-open and leave your hair frizzy and not silky. This is true for all chemical applications. Shampooing too soon after a chemical can cause a loss of the desired result. Color can wash out, curls can loosen, and hair can frizz out from disturbing the ph balance.

if you're utilizing a reliable shampoo and conditioner, yet a cheap straightener, then the straightener, actual. if you're utilizing inexpensive shampoo and conditioner and a cheap straightener, then you definately're beating your hair up rather badly. if you're utilizing inexpensive shampoo and conditioner, yet an particularly truly reliable straightener that isnt burning your hair, then the bathing on a daily basis. i understand that truly some human beings are in this entire "no washing" kick, yet heavily, some human beings favor to bathe on a daily basis. If I dont, no longer in reality does my hair look greasy, i understand it, I swear i visit scent it and my self-self belief is 0. None of those issues are eye-catching. reliable shampoo is truly well worth the money once you've large hair.

If you've ever seen legally blonde... You know that the rules of hair care are simple and finite. Also like mentioned in the film, a perm will go away if it's wet... your straightened hair is kinda like permed hair... water will ruin it.

The chemicals need time to finish processing. Its also the reason why you shouldnt get a perm wet right after getting it done. It will cause the chemicals to de-activate.

the water can actually reverse the process. (and make the hair curly again) usually its 2-3 days depending on the product used....so unless you're okay wasting all that time and money, i reeeeely suggest waiting.
