Okay, what I use is a serum called Farouk Systems Biosilk Silk Therapy. It makes my hair SO soft and shiny. A little goes a REALLY long way. You can use it when your hair is dry or after a shower, before you style it
I also went to a salon recently and they had some serum like the one I have, but it was completely organic. I didn't buy any, but my friend did. If you're interested message me and I'll find out the name from her.
If price matters, Sally's Beauty Supply store carries a generic line of the stuff I use, and it works just as well, in my opinion.

Hey hun, im a cosmetoligist... here are a few tips for keeping healthy hair.
Wear a silk scarf on your hair at night. That will protect it from becoming damaged as you rub your head on your pillows at night, or use a silk pillowcase.
Apply a conditioning mask and wrap your hair up in a bun. Wrap it up with a shower cap and sleep with the mask on your hair overnight 2 times a month. Wash out in the morning.. Voila.. silky smooth hair!
Only wash your hair every 2 days (3 if you dont have super oily hair. you can get it wet daily, just dont shampoo it!)
Twice a month, mix 2 tbsp baking soda into your regular shampoo to cleanse your hair even further. Sometimes product buildup can make your hair look dull, frizzy, and rough.
Lastly, use a silicone based smoother... spray kind is best because it doesnt get as sticky.

Hybiscus rosa sinithis ( spelling mistake) leaves cut them and squeeze them with little water and you get a jelly like substance this you apply to your head and keep it for 10 minutes and then take a bath any you will get soft and smooth hair much better than any conditioner and it does not contain any egg.

My hair used to be kind of rough and I used the Biolage shampoo & conditioner by Matrix and now my hair is soft and smooth. You can purchase it at almost any hair salon or salon store. A leave-in conditioner is also a good idea.

Use matrix ultra hydrating balm, put a plastic cap over it. Use a blowdryer for 10 minutes or so, then let cool for 5 minutes before you rinse it out. It works miracles!
