I don't know about that.....
In some religions they collected money.... and used become rich from selling pardons for sins etc. (Catholic church).
I would think that conflicts actually cost money to run.... but maybe when they win public favour, they make money..
I don't know... all I know is that it isn't meant to be this way. There should only be one religion that worships the true God of Heaven and earth....before Him there is NO other gods.

There is only one religion and differences are Political.
Do you think God Almighty wants to create confusion among humans to select one religion from so many religions?
No No, God Almighty gave us only one religion, and sent so many Messengers to guide us, but unfortunately we due to our political, and other reasons started deviations in religion and starting giving deferent names to our own ideas.

well mostly to the sellers to the muslims and in fact the whole middle east, but no longer to christianity- who used to be so passionate for the blood of war- the dark ages were amazing
