I just did a timing belt on a 01 lancer, they are a good car and will last a long time if you take care of it. belt took me 3 hours to install. it is worth it, if you dont change it and it breaks it is an interferance motor ( pistons will hit valves and cost a bunch to fix ) if you want a new car, you better get rid of it now, if the belt snaps the car wont be worth much at all.

never trade in car at dealer unless you don't care about return on your used car. find the car you want and then sell your other car privately and you will make close to double what the dealer offered

If it runs good, drive it until the wheels fall off and then get new wheels..No car payments are very sweet
