Hey hun, im a cosmetoligist... here are a few tips for keeping healthy hair.
If you must wear a helmet, you can tie a scarf over your hair before putting the helmet on. That will protect it from becoming damaged.
Apply a conditioning mask and wrap your hair up in a bun. Wrap it up with a shower cap and sleep with the mask on your hair overnight 2 times a month. Wash out in the morning.. Voila.. silky smooth hair!
Once a week, mix 2 tbsp baking soda into your regular shampoo to cleanse your hair even further. Sometimes product buildup can make your hair look dull, frizzy, and rough.
Lastly, use a silicone based smoother... spray kind is best because it doesnt get as sticky.

Try to not wash it every day; just use conditioner. Use deep conditioning treatments once or twice a week. Also use leave in conditioners daily. Also your shampoo/cond combo should be made specifically for dry/damaged hair. My best suggestion honestly would be ask the person who cuts your hair. That's who gives me advice on mine. Good luck!

If your hair is long make sure to tuck it into your jacket or braid it, so it does not get tangled. Make sure to use a shampoo and conditioner for dry hair.

I used to be so concerned about how to where my hair, what colour to dye it, how to look after it etc... but after i had radiation therapy for lukemia, my hair fell out. It was so liberating... My advice: save the hassle and shave it off now
