Yes? And how did it go?

In a strange way, it worked for me. I had been just chatting with people online out of boredom and met my boyfriend who lived 45 minutes away from me. We just talked online and even gave each other relationship advice and were just online friends. I ended up moving to the same city he was in with my Dad and we started hanging out and it's been amazing ever since. I didn't go online to date, but I ended up finding the man I'm not more in love with than I could ever imagine and live with and who treats me phenomenally. So, tread carefully, but I know that in a strange way, it worked for me. Believe me though, when you stop looking for love, it'll hit you upside the head at once.

Oh yes, met my wife via Yahoo! Personals. Dated 2 years, living 100 miles apart, Married over 4 years now, living together. very, very happy.

I will say, it took going through a dozen other girls to find this one.

The key in our profiles was honesty, and no games. Lots of women online say one thing, and do another, just like guys.

Lots of women lie about what they like, thinking if they put in things like hunting, fishing, and football, they will find a guy.

We both knew what we were getting, were serious, were honest about what we wanted, and were looking for, and we work on it, every day.

I'd recommend eHarmony over the rest, but other online dating setups can work too.

Good luck.

No. Why not just date in the real world? If you can't do that, how is online going to help? And what better way to meet someone and get to know someone than seeing their smile or how they carry themselves in the real world.
