Is Equal Artifical Sugar bad for you

All sugar substitutes are useless. They taste sweet but have no calories. Your brain registers the sweetness and expects calories. When it doesn't get that it sends signals to your body to eat more. In the end whatever calories you save by not using sugar you end up eating because your brain tells you to feel more hungry.

Better to learn to go without the sweetness altogether or use honey, instead. It does have calories but less than sugar and lots of health benefits. Plus it won't actually make you eat more.

Too much of anything can be bad for you.
In moderation, no...Equal is not bad for you if you are an otherwise healthy individual (Equal contains Phenylalanine so Phenylketonurics should not use it).
