If the camera man who is taking my picture tells me to smile do I owe him a smile? If my boss tells me to smile plzz, to score a sale .should I listen to him or quit? If some one here in answer rendered a joke with a word smile,should I get mad? he cannot see me smiling or pouting any way. Smile !Candid Camera Action. How dare these people demanding me to smile !!!

A smile can be used to disarm a protagonist but a frown merely forewarns that same protagonist to be on alert.
If you wish to continue through life with a frown then I will simply leave you to your own devices and move on. All the while with a smile on my face. You will never know what it is I smile at, though.

When someone says "smile" hand them a pen and tell them to stab it into their eye and watch you smile with the other one.
