I went to their website at trappistcaskets.com. They look wonderful, but are pricey.

No, but I have bought a couple from www.colliercasket.com. They gave us a great deal and saved us a lot of money. The main disadvantage of the lower cost caskets is that they don't have a lift. They use shredded paper to raise the body to the appropriate height. Once the body is in the casket, you can't tell the difference.

No I have not. They are very attractive and rather expensive. I think spending that much money to be laid in the ground to rot is a sinful waste of money. These monks should build furniture as nice as these caskets and not be wasteful of natural resources. It's not important what your body is put into for burial.

When I die I don't want to be buried or cremated.
I want to be BRONZED!
and turned into a statue!
My family can use me as a coat rack or some kind of conversation piece.
So I don't think I would need a casket.
do you think that's legal?
could I really do that?
It would be cool if I could!
