What you have is called Plantar Fasciitis.
Google some stretching exercises you can do in the morning. It can take as long as 6 months to heal this problem, but with stretching and the right shoes you'll feel better in no time.
1. Take an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofin (Advil) or aspirin about an hour *before* you head out to do any activity or errand.
2. New Balance makes excellent shoes to treat specific issues. You'll can find suitable model suggestions here: http://store.nbdelaware.com/merchant2/me...
It's extremely important that you have shoes designed for walking or cross-training right now because they're made differently and offer better support than regular sneakers. Go to a New Balance store to get fitted and buy elsewhere if your style isn't on sale.
3. When returning from work apply an ice pack on your feet and elevate them.
4. If you feel you have tried good shoes, stretching, etc... and are still experiencing pain or mobility, see a sports medicine doctor or podiatrist.

Try to get off your feet on your breaks - elevate your feet and pull your shoes off.
Try an arch support in your shoes - you can get them from Dr. Scholl's in a dept store.
Also GEL inserts (like an insole but made of a jellylike rubbery plastic) that absorb the impact of walking so much.
You might have to get it medically checked because there are such things as a "fallen" arch - a displacement of the metatarsal bones...and STRESS FRACTURES can occur too - from repeated stress on a bone...they are only detected by xrays, so maybe check with your doctor about that?
Good luck ; )

The first thing you need to do is go to a good shoe store and get some good work shoes like SAS or Rockports. They will cost you money but you cannot wear normal store brand shoes if you are on your feet for long periods of time. Do this before you next day to work so. Wear them for a week and if your feet aren't any better then go see a podiatrist as you may have something wrong with your feet.

Get some good shoes. I recommend Crocs; they are like walking on a cloud. My friend is a doctor and all the ER docs wear these, there are lots of style; I like the Prima and Nile

You may want to get arch supports.
yes, to soaking in Epsom salts, I used to do that when I danced on my toes. Also, see if someone will rub your feet for you; that helps a lot.

Many great answers, about the shoes. Besides getting better shoes, make sure you are wearing the right width. Many women try to fit in A and Bs when they should wear wide width shoes. Use those shoe measuring devices to make sure the size you are choosing is right.

It is your shoes. Get some good insoles, go to champs or academy. I am on my feet for 12 hours a day, and my feet never hurt. You wanna know my secret? CROCS. They may be ugly but man they are comfortable.

go to your doctor get a precrption for ted hose the thigh high kind, they are like tight *** panty hose type stockings but real tight,no garters required,it takes like 20 minutes to get them on, what a pain in the butt! but sop worth it, they also prevent varicose veins which people who must be working on their feet all day are prone too. also get some good support shoes or inserts for your feet! try going to shoe stores where they sell good running shoes.

You need to find a store that carries shoes for this purpose. If they can't find you something with the support or cushion you need, see a podiatrist.
In the meantime, *gentle* heat and ibuprofen might be your best bet. Foot massages may help, *IF* you can find someone who is both willing and knows what they're doing.
