So, I've been wondering what people think about 'chunky' girls. You know, girls who have a tummy. Do you find them attracting? Can a size 7 be as attractive as a size 1?

So, I've been wondering what people think about 'chunky' girls. You know, girls who have a tummy. Do you find them attracting? Can a size 7 be as attractive as a size 1? or should I say, a size 14 as attractive to a size 1?

Big or small - love em all. Chunky girls are as attractive as any other woman, so long as they present themselves as best they can (like any size person).
I love, proposed to and married a marvellous BBW not because of her size but because of who she is.

They can deffinitly be as gorgeous or moreso than thin girls! As the 5378925729 people above me have said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But, I do think the meaning was a little tossed in these explanations. That means, as you probably know, that if you see yourself as beautiful, and reflect it in the way you walk, speak, move, and just all aroun act, than other people will have that view of you too.
Also, I kinda resent that you said that a size 7 was chunky. I am a size 7-9 but I'm a, well..."fit" girl. I mean I'm not skinny but I'm probably thin I'd say. But see the thing is, is that I have curvy hips and butt. Curves and chunk are different. So size 7...even like size 14's aren't neccesarily fat or chunky.
Also, alot of skinny girls don't have as much chest and butt as guys like, so in that department a lot of guys love a little bit of meat on a girl.
If you're really uncomfortable with your size, try and ujst run for 30 minutes every day. That way you will have a better self-image.

I am "chunky", so to speak. I actually don't like that word because it makes it sound like being overweight is ok. It's not ok.
I have no idea what a size 7 is or a size 1 is, because i'm from Australia. Our sizes generally start from 4 or 6 and go right up to 16 in normal clothes, 28 in plus size clothes.
So anyway, I'm a size 14 to 16. I've never been anything less than a 12 at my best of times. And I hate that. I'm very short, and I have a small frame, so I am very overweight, but working on losing weight.
Being overweight is unhealthy. This is not about being pretty or ugly or having boyfriends or getting lots of sex. It's about being healthy, being fit, being able to live life to its absolute fullest and not having to miss out on anything because of your weight.
I don't think somebody who is overweight can be as attractive as somebody who is fit and of a healthy weight. Neither can somebody who is underweight. People who are healthy, happy and comfortable with themselves are attractive.

I understand I'm a girl and you probably wanted guys to answer but I figured I'd answer anyways. :]
First off I don't think a size 7 is "chunky" actually I would love to be a size 7. I'm a size 12 and I would say I carry my weight well (meaning I don't really look like a size 12). I currently have a boyfriend, normal, sweet, football loving guy and he swears I'm gorgeous.
Also, when I see other women I think that the very skinny ones aren't very pretty at all. I have 2 brothers and several guy friends and they agree. Bottom line, be confident. The way you carry yourself, and your personality are usually what stand out more than a little bit of a tummy.

When did size 7 become chunky? The average is around size 12. My wife is the hottest woman walking the earth and she's a size 18.

Well beauty comes from within...it's in the eye of the beholder. I have 4 brothers and I have never heard a complaint about "chunky" girls. I know a lot of girls that think they're pretty. Yes a size 7 is way more attractive than a size one. I'm sure most guys you ask would agree.

I might be chunky because I wear a size 16 1/2 but, I don't look chunky. My stomach isn't bulging out of my belly or shirt. I just have wider hips. A full figured woman is usually a size 12 or so and they don't look chunky.

I think as hard as it is to do attractive people are people who believe they are attractive. You know the confidance 'thang'. It's also a bit of wanting what you don't have in my case. I have always been thin. 5'8' and 120. I have no curves I feel and can barely fill an A cup. I loved being pregnant. My sisters are hippy and heavier and shorter than I am. My inside image is that of Olive Oyl. I think chunky and fit woman are gorgeous. People tell me I have a model's body and say kinda not kind remarks like 'you ***** what are you a size 1' in jest. Doesn't help me feel good. My sister will tell me she doesn't want to sit next to me at the beach. It's hard too because I have now found out I have a medical condition as well as a predisposition to be thin. I sturggle with my breast size. i think it is just not easy for all women. I also have done years of figure drawing of all types of bodies. Everyone is different and really amazing. It hurts me when I see plus size women down on themselves ..like my sister who is a beautiful person. I think you will find men in general have their preferences but I think it is very feminine. My mom told me instead of getting implant treat your self to a proper wardrobe that fits and flatters. Your worth it!

Personally,I am a pretty chunky girl.But I wear the right clothes for my body so it doesn't show as much.I think girls with curves are far more attractive than woman who resemble sticks.I mean I can go to the mall with my guy friends and such and guys will hit on me because they know I can have a good time and I have a good personality! And by the way,a size seven is NOT chunky! lol great question by the way!

LOOOOOOL! yes a size 7 can be as attractive as a size 1 because a size 7, even on like a 5'2 frame, barely qualifies as chunky.
try asking this question with a size 12 or 14 somewhere in there... and it you cant stop being diluted by celebrities and models then turn off your tv and take a walk outside

You know what the most awesomest feeling is? When a big girl can go out with her skinny friends, and they guys are all staring at her. It's a matter of opinion. A size one is very skinny. Probably doesn't have any curves. But a size seven will have more of a feminine figure. Are you chunky?
We are not all meant to look like Paris Hilton. If we did it would be a boring world.
