the Bible tells us to be careful when so called angels reveal spiritual things. and whatever the angel reveals, we have to judge it against the Word of God.

but mormonism was revealed thru an angel and it tells us that Jesus is not GOD ALMIGHTY, which is contrary to Bible doctrine.

Philippians 2:5-7 - Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond-servant, and coming in the likeness of men.

2corinth11:14And no wonder, even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it's not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants who have God's approval. In the end they will get what they deserve!

do u all even read your bible and accept the straight truth?

You are referring to Galatians 1. Paul means that we should remain true to the principles he taught, even if others teach to the contrary. How did Paul acquire his knowledge? He says in the same chapter "But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." So I will follow a prophet guided by revelation, and not a theologian teaching contrary to scripture.

But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

Angels and the visitation to the earth of angels are recorded all over the Bible. By sharing the scriptural references you do in your question, you imply that all angelic visits are evil or questionable. How would one know that an angelic visit is appropriate?

John the Revelator, assuredly a trusted source, prophesied that angels would come to the earth and restore the everlasting gospel. See Revelations 14:6

Mormons simply believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was taken from the earth after the death of the Apostles in Christ's time, and again restored to the earth in these latter days.

actually, after ihad been a mormon for several years, and i heard all the anti mormon doctrine that could ever be heard or written, i found a verse in the book of revelation. it says that an angel has in his hands the book, the everlasting gospel to give to the inhabitants of the earth.
Moroni, not only was the messenger who showed a 14 year old boy where plates were buried in an ostuary type box, hidden in the ground for delivering the gospel to our generation, and he not only took it away but he also delivered it again.
God planned to give his gospel to us, after He knew mankind would not preserve the gospel truth, Jesus knew that Israel did not keep the words of God and that They had rejected Him as a saviour so he knew that it had to be preserved by the other 12 elders which sit on 24 thrones.

Wow you sound so demanding ? do say please.

Now, gospel 101,

Angel from God is different from angel disguise by Satan.

Before Joseph Smith met the Angel Moroni, he was visited by God the Father, and Jesus Christ.

Anymore question? do remember to say please....you don't want to be rude do you????

What you need to come to grips with is that everyone will have a different interpretation of the Bible. Earth is smaller than one would think. The practice of "Tolerance" of all forms becomes particularly important.

The bible is merely a reference book to mormons. the book of mormon is claimed to be a higher authority than the Word of GOD so all are unsaved.

go to your own church and get behind the pulpit...i've heard it all before man...leave the mormons alone, leave EVERYONE alone and follow the "live and let live" principal...i've been baptist, I've been mormon...and I'll tell you a secret...I'm now WICCAN...bet you'll leave the poor Mormons alone now won't you...get a life and reconcile yourself to your own God...you got your own issues without bothering others because they believe different than yourself.
