Do cat's NOT like to scratch?

Frankly, I don't think there is any fabric that is cat-proof. I mean, you can try densly packed weaves like canvas or denim... but the odd cat will still try his claws on that. One of my cats scratches the legs of our ding room table and those legs are made of cast-iron! But he does not scratch our leather couch and armchair and ottomans. So... depends on what material your particular cat finds attractive. Some like to scratch carpet, some like to scratch wood, some like to scratch cardboard, some like to scratch fabric... you get my meaning.
