i am flying from nyc to columbus ohio and then from columbus to my city. there is only a 2 hour gap from when i arrive in columbus to when i take off for my final destination. instead of having to go to the counter in columbus to get my final boarding pass, is it possible for me to pick up both my boarding passes in nyc? i am flying on two seperate airlines by the way. when i went to germany with only united, i just picked up both boarding passes at one airport. thanks for any help.

Most airlines let you print your boarding pass from home 24 hours before your flight departs. Go to the airlines website, and put in your flight number and your code or name, and it will probably give you an option to print your boarding pass.

By the way, Paul has a good point. If your flight gets delayed in NYC, you might miss your flight in Columbus on the other airline. That's why you should always try to stay with one airline! Hopefully your not flying with JetBlue lol?

It depends on the airline. Most airlines allow you to check in online up to 24 hours before the flight departs, so you should be able to just log on to the airlines website and check in that way.

BTW -- if you encounter a delay out of NYC (and that never happens, right) and it puts you in to Columbus after your departure time... you're basically hosed!

Check in online; you can print your boarding passes from both airlines. You have to wait until 24 hours before your flight.
