The girl at the check out knew him and gave me his number and said he was single. Do you think I should call him or not? I don't typically call guys (chase them, etc.) and am not 100% sure if he was checking me out or not-but he DID give me a double take. What do you think? Maybe he just recognized
me from somewhere-I'm not sure. Will I look desperate if I call him? This happened about 3 weeks ago.

You shouldn't pursue him, especially since its been 3 weeks he might not even remember who you are. Instead if you know the girl that gave you his number than you should have her hook you up, otherwise he might think you are a stalker or something. like William K, hahaha!!!

Just call him, say you thought he was cute when you both saw him a couple weeks ago,y our friend gave you his #, and does he want to hang out?
Honesty is the way to go here. Don't make up a story or anything.
Time's a wastin so do this soon - it would be weird if too much more time passes.
Just do it, you might have a good thing! If he says no so what just don't go to that store for awhile...

If you know for a fact that you're not going to run into him in your everyday life then you should call him. Do you know what kind of boost this will be to his ego? He'll be flattered for sure that a woman that he thought he had no chance with gave him a call. I say go for it. Good luck
