It can't be "Biago" !! "Biagio" is the correct name in Italian.
From the Roman name "Blasius" and derived from Latin noun "blaesus" which means "lisping"
Nowadays in Italy is no longer that common as it was in the past, but we still have it associated to a very popular saying :
"Adagio Biagio !" meaning "Hey man, go slow, be careful !" that most likely has been originated by the name's meaning since,as a rule, lisping people need to be slower in speaking.
