Well, first I'm a woman, so this might be somewhat difficult (depending on the guy). However, all things being equal, I think I could only do this as a last resort, and I mean a last, last, last resort. I have trouble even accepting the notion of shooting someone in self-defense. If I absolutely had to I might be able to in order to save my own life or the life of someone that I love. I guess it all depends on the situation. I think for most people it would take dire circumstances and even still it would leave haunting memories.

Maybe if he was trying to kill me, but even then i'd try to look for something to hit him over the head with.
