I try to read many holy books to get a better understanding of our creator. My concern with the Qu’ran is how God presents his message and the messager he uses to teach the prophet outlined in the passages.
There is no denying that Muhammad is a prophet. He was already taught from different faiths, from his own pagan tribe, from Christian family members and Jewish settlers he came across in his journeys with his uncle.
Mohammed’s knowledge increased due to spiritual influence but at the same time it appears that the messager was an Angel with his own agenda rather then God's.
The Angel who visited other prophets and Jesus mother seems to be out of character, violent to Muhammad and does not match the speech patterns and behavior as previous recorded.
With this in mind it makes the Qur'an difficult to assess its ability to show that it is conveying God's thoughts rather then some other invisible creature impersonating him.

I've read it enough times and I do speak Arabic, thank you.
Incidentally, also did the Bible in Hebrew, thanks. By the way, just thought I should mention, since you obviously don't know this, the NT is written is many different dialects and languages like Aramaic and so on; since it's the compilation of a lot of Testaments by different people.
I was also a bit shocked to see Artist's comment, If you are a devout Muslim, you should know that your blasphemy against Jesus, al Massihe Isa, is not taken lightly in Islam. Seek the pardon of Allah, ar Rahman, ar Rahim, ya azizi.
Cheers!

I've read it before, not entirely and certainly not as a routine. And that's because there's no need for me to do so, since I am not a Muslim. But then again, even if I am, I will not be able to read the Koran in Arabic nor understand it, since only 20% of Muslims live in the Arabic world, and most of them are illiterate, only a small portion of Muslims can ever read the Koran in Arabic (http://islam.about.com/library/weekly/aa032300a.htm). So the majority are not even reading the "real" Koran, so to speak.

I used to read it everyday, but now school is stressing me out. If you are a Christian and haven't read this book, you are not qualified to make a statement about it. I read both the Bible and Qur'an.

Never read it. I couldn't get through the first ten pages of the bible without falling asleep. I couldn't imagine how another religious book would be any different.

Never. I have no reason to read the Quran and rather use my time doing other things.

Well, I've never read it. This is mostly due to the fact that I don't find its teachings to be accurate (I'm atheist), and I'm not much of a reader, really.
