I want a beagle really bad, and i was wondering how much they run for and if anyone knows when i can get one for a good price?

I wanted to get rats really bad at one stage, I talked my mum into it, I got my way, I love them to bits however I think I may have made a BIG mistake. They DONT smell nice, I find my self cleaning their cage almost TWO times a friggen day! They are fussy eaters, they poo and wee every where they go and they can live up to ten years! So the lesson is don’t rush things, until you have really researched that animal, seriously lol!
Note: I love my beautiful, cheerful little rats to bits, however they are just a LOT of work. I haven’t got the heart to give them away!

Beagles will run you from about $400 on up and that is starting with pet quality at that price.. If you want a show quality one or one with good bloodlines then it will naturally cost much more. However, you may be able to find a breeder (go to http://www.akc.org) that is close to you and try to work out some kind of arrangement for the dog that you would like.
Once in a while they will cut someone a good deal on a returned puppy.

if your not going to enter him in any dog shows or breed them or anything that will require papers, try checking your local humane society, they might have beagles they might not, if they have them then you will not spend that much if you went to a breeder, if the dont have them check your local papers and depending where your from, also check other humane societies if they have any beagles thats only if your willing to travel there

There are purebred beagles in shelters (around me in the Chicago area) and there are MANY beagle mix breeds, too.
Check to see if any are near you......

Depends on if you want one that is registered or not. Beagles that I have sold went from 25 to150 dollars. not always puppies.
