If you love your dad and want a relationship with him you might get together with him and discuss this. If he had misconduct with you, just remember humans make mistakes...some worse than others...but he's your dad and if you find it in your heart to accept his humanness and move on, maybe you'll both be the better for it.

It seems you're implying sexual abuse, maybe I'm wrong. If so, it's common to feel guilty because you liked it. Kids don't know any better. They just feel good when touched, like all humans do. It's not your fault. You did nothing wrong. If your dad did something wrong, he was sick. Hopefully he's healthier now. But I wouldn't trust a known child sex offender with my children. Peace to you. This happens to millions of kids every day. If it happened to you, I have faith that you'll be able to deal with it effectively. You know what you need to do; you'll figure it out. Meditation? Prayer? Counseling? Here's to your health. Blessings.

well... what happened with him?? it isn't bad to be close to your daddy.. sometimes i wish i was closer to my dad.. i can't really talk to him like i do with my mom.. It's sad, but i don't really think he cares about my teenager problems.. so he just tones me out. I think it is a wonderful thing that your close to your dad.. And you should just start talking to him again.. (don't let a good thing slip right out of your hands) you will be grateful for taking that extra step in rebuilding your relationship... later!! even if you don't feel like your ready to now. best of wishes!! ;)
love always.. Britt

What is your problem? Did he physically hurt you? Don't let people tell you what is right and wrong. You decide. They are just messing with your head. If you like then like him if you never want to see him again, don't.
