I asked this already, but I want more input. I have been in a relationship for 10 month. This guy was my first boyfriend everything. 5 months into dating and a month before making our relationship official I slept with someone else. Should I tell him or keep it a secret??? Please don't criticize me!!!Thanks for you input!!!

we weren't exclusive on a count of him, he didn't want to make it official yet and a month later he said that he really likes me and wanted to make it official.

dont tell him. you were not official. you were still technically in the "just daating phase". it wont help anything, he will most likely get upset and resent you. guys dont like to think about another man with their girl, especially if you guys were kinda dating at the time. BELIEVE ME...even if you technically werent together at the time, there will be a lot of bitterness. he will think of you as shady and question you all the time.
ever seen that "Friends" episode?? ross and rachel broke up for a month and ross slept with someone. years later they would still bring it up. his response was always "but we were on a BREAK!!!!" lol.

No, you shouldn't tell him. You guys were just dating at the time, you weren't official. Guys don't want to hear that you were with another guy, they will become bitter. Most men cheat and never tell their mate, but now that you are officially a couple it would be considered cheating if you cheated on him.

If you two weren't dating exclusively at the time when you slept with the other guy, you didn't do anything wrong, and it's none of his business. Don't feel like you have to tell him.

It depends what you mean by not being "officially" with your boyfriend. That sounds like a bit of a cop out to me. If you weren't exclusive with him, then don't tell him. I suspect that he thinks you two were exclusive, in which case you should tell him so he can dump you.

If he's a jealous-type of person, I would say don't tell him. Don't risk losing your relationship over something that happened in the past. He'll never be able to forget it. On the small possibility that you are dating one of those men that all women dream of - one who is laid back, would understand, and would love you anyway and never think about it again - well then, go ahead and tell him. But chances are you aren't, so don't : )

Tough one, were do you see your relationship headed, something good and long with this guy or the idea of making that mistake again has been in your mind. Sometime secrets are best kept secrets

no what is the point of you telling him that? There is no point.
Especially if it was before you were "official" you didn't do anything wrong. "Dating" means you can "date" more than one, until you pick one for a BF!
Just enjoy him and your current relationship and live in the world of today....

Well lets see---you were dating but slept with someone anyway--what is the problem--you are a creep--you don't have the guts to remain faithful--so you don't have the guts to tell him, either---don't criticize??? don't make me laugh--you told the story and I formed an opinion---you are a creep. you don't have an honest bone in your body---so why would you even ask about telling him...you plan on lying anyway---if it broke you two up when you tell him--what did you expect it to do---nothing?? What if he did it to you??? You would yell and scream and carry on--so stop the drama and do whatever--you still are a creep

hm, well its kind of a torn situation. if he doesnt know, it wouldnt cause turmoil and it could just be a sin against you. but if he finds out, that would be horrible, and probably would end your relationship.
but i think if you've kept it a secret for this long, and he isnt aware, dont test the waters, just move on and be happy with him.
but dont do it again...good luck!
