In my opinion, yes. It is a way to avoid responsibility for your actions. The devil tempted Eve and put sin in the world, so of course I have to sin. And of course the old standby, the devil made me do it.
People need to own up to their own flaws and problems and stop blaming others for their mistakes.

In Islam, as revealed in the Quran, devil can be either the human or the jinns. Those who are bad ad influence others to do bad things are evil. Simple as that. (jinns are created from fire, can be good genies or bad genies)

Nah, People blame God for all the bad things, "Why didn't God stop that?" "Why did God allow that to happen."

The devil only gets sympathy--------"God made the devil and knew he would do bad things, so God is to blame."

No, not always. Sometimes we act like the DEVIL "ourselves" and LIE and blame other people, and "their countries". Then we invade them, and take control of their oil and minerals.

Don't kid yourself, the existence of devil does not exonerate you from blame.
