I got this off a message board for Acne. Its called the dipping method. For the past several years I have had mild acne and no matter what I bought nothing ever seemed to really help. I started this a month ago and I only have one active pimple and my skin just seems a lot healthier.
You feel a sink with water as hot as you can handle without it burning you simply just dip your face in the sink for 100 seconds with taking breaths every ten seconds. You do this once in the morning and once at night. Its worked for me and many others on this message board, the link will explain why it works.
I also drink water mixed with lemon juice every morning which is thought to help.

Yes, there is! I used to have very bad acne and was considering going on heavy antibiotics. First purchase a micro-fibre wash cloth: they are very very soft. then purchase the most natural cleanser you can find, one that is very soft and suitable for babies that is soap-free and ph balanced. Purchase a toner that hydrates your skin but is very natural. Take zinc supplement tablets. Stay out of the sun. Use a natural shampoo this may seem strange, but it has an amazing effect. Look for a shampoo that is made from pure oils and organic herbs. Have short showers with not cold water or hot water, just luke warm. Change your bath towel regularly. Use a different pillowcase everynight, like monday one side, tuesday turn it over and then change it for wednesday. It may seem like lots of work, but if you are strict and follow it you will see and improvement in 2 weeks i guarantee it! I also have a guaranteed anti-acne diet that cures acne in 12 weeks. Contact me at: rockstar3492@hellokitty.com if you would like a copy.
Hope this has helped, my face is clear now except for the odd one or two, so much better and i feel great. Doctors never helped me, it took me 5 years to come across this cure. Please try it, i know how hard it is to have acne and this will work i promise.

i've been battling acne for well over a year now, and i've tried EVERYTHING ... all sorts of medicines and home remedies ... i went to a derm and my skin sorta cleared up, but in 2 weeks, the acne was back.
so then i visited a general physician, and now, i'm pimple-free! (minus the scars). my doc gave me tablets and gels, and also asked me to eat more green, leafy veggies, eat at least two carrots a day, take a morning walk, and a cpl of other random tips. what's really important is to eliminate fat from ur diet, bcoz all that pus in a pimple, its fat! so that means cutting out dairy product ... if u ever do happen to binge on chocolates, make sure they're dark (since that contains a lot less milk! remember, the cocoa isn't bad for you, the milk is).
so my advice to u is to visit a doctor, because acne has next to nothing to do with external forces (like dirt, sunlight, etc. - these just trigger what's already there). acne is an internal problem, it could be a digestive thing or just a hormonal imbalance ... i suggest just going 2 a doctor and finding out! good luck ! :)

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

just put a moisturizer on every day, that's about it. There are a ton of creams out there. Or if you have major acne problems there's Proactiv and AcneFree. Although Proactiv makes your skin kind of greasy. Well just start putting a moisturizer on your face at least twice a day, I do this and I've actually never gotten a huge breakout. Just a little pimple like, once in a blue moon.

If you want to get rid of the acne itself, it helps to go on a low-fat, low-fried-food, watery diet. Drink a lot of water, eat a lot of fruits especially oranges, and keep your face lotioned at all time. Be sure to lotion up your face after shower. I saw a doctor before and she told me that the drier your face gets, the more oil your face will produce, thus letting you have more acne.
To get rid of acne scars, I use a method that's somewhat less conventional. Mix a tea spoon of olive oil + sugar, gentally rub it on your face for a minute or so, rinse thoroughly, and do that for a month or so. It's a slow solution but it works.
Hope that helps~

Try to have a healthy life-style. Less grease and more water. take up a sport that will make you work but have fun. Keep a basic cleansing and moisturizing routine to keep your skin clean. Don't over wash, your oil glands will automatically produce more oil. Minimal make-up is best. If these things don't work see a dermatologist. They can offer you something that can help. Unfortunately, if could be hormones. My aunt had acne till she started taking birth control pills (which help regulate the hormones). Talk to your parents about seeing a dermatologist about this!

acne is stuff being expelled from the body thru your skin, that stuff is toxins and poisons, if you eat ONLY whole natural foods, no sweets, especially CHOCOLATES, NO white flour products at all.eat only whole grain bread.and drink no junk drinks, sodas and such. then you will not have acne.because you will then not be putting bad junk in your body which will then be expelled thru the pores of your skin, simple.
for what acne you have. put Aloe Vera Gel on the acne five times a day.and it WILL heal it.Do not buy these products these people suggest. Its not necessary
Now you know, so YOU have to eat right,No one is going to make you,NO there's no pill you can take, sorry. It will take some effort on your part.OK?

yes. this is what my grandfather did when he was young in the 1920's when there was no med. he learned it from his doctor. wash the effected area using soap and THE HOTTEST WATER YOU CAN POSSIBLY STAND. and then rinse it with equally hot clear water 3 times per day. This opens and cleans the clogged pores that are causing the acne. after you are done use a good brand of perfume or after shave depending on if you are a boy or girl. The alcohol in it will clean the pores even more. i had zero zits after 1 week of doing this !
