ex dilemma...shud i just apologize & forget abt him? he still loves me, but the feeling's not mutual?

my ex & i were in a long distance relationship for 3 yrs. when we hooked up i had to migrate so we never really spent time 2gether we stayed 2gether for 2 yrs on & off i was always the 1 who ended it dont get me wrong I LUVED HIM but i just cudnt deal w the distance; the 3rd yr of our relationship i broke up w. him for good. i cudnt take it anymore, we werent seeing each other at all, the phone calls got further & further apart, we grew apart also, when we did speak to each other, nothing was there, just boring "hey, how r u?" conversations. i didnt luv him like i used to; so i broke up w. him & decided dat i'd relax for a while i've been going good for abt a yr now even tho i'm still single. recently i got a little lonely & i spoke w. him & somehow we started talkin abt gettin back 2gether. thing is i dont wanna get bk w. him but i took advantage of him when i was down i kno i'm wrong i feel bad b/c i kno he luvs me he's obsessed which scares me - 1 of da reasons i broke up w. him 2

If you do not want to get back with him, be honest with him now. You may feel bad and guilty, but that certainly is not a good reason to get stuck in a relationship that you know is not going to work. I would tell him that you do not want to get back with him and apologize. It will hurt, but it is better than going through the run around again. Especially since this time around you wont even have love in your heart to make it worth it.

If you start feeling lonely again, I would try really hard to surround yourself with friends and keep busy. Hopefully those feelings will pass for you.

Stop the communication and stop it now. There's no reason to talk to him again. If you feel the need, write a quick e-mail that says, "I wasn't myself. Getting back together is not what we should be doing and I'm sorry about putting you through this but I think it would be best if we continued to just be friends." Then cut off the communication. If he's obsessed with you, leading him on in any way will not help your situation. So cut the ties and find someone else to fill that loneliness void.

Well hind site is 20/20 so there is no point in going there. Looking ahead you need to be honest with him and tell him you don't want to go back to what you had and you are sorry if you led him to believe that you did. If he lives so far away from you, why are you scared of him? Do you think he would come to wherever it is you live and harm you? its not good to call him for 20minutes consolation, by doing this you give him the siganl you can try me again, which is not pretty.

breaking up old bond isnt easy when you have little, but keeping it will in the end give each other bigger pain, as you do now.

so if you dont love him , tell him what has been going on in you , and say goodby.

and start new living.
