I follow the airline and aircraft industry very closely. You can go online to Air Transport World magazine and find out what the airlines of the world are ordering and other news.
The Boeing 787 would be the airliner of choice for my airline. It will be available many years before the A350 has it's first flight. Airbus miscalculated when it decided to build the huge A380 and now with the success of the 787 they are playing catch up with the A350
The public is not all googah for very large aircraft as they were in 1970. Before the 747 all airliners were narrow bodied tubes. Now that the traveling public has gotten used to widebodied aircraft they are leery of something like the A380 which might take an hour just to board. We all know that those bars, gift shops, health spas and so forth will be taken out and replaced with seats after airlines like Virgin Atlantic realize that hauling such non-paying amenities across the oceans is not economical. The big airbus will never sell enough to break even let alone make a profit. Once again the governments involved in this case France and Germany will eat the loss just like what happened when England and France put up 12 billion to put 14 Concordes into service.

Boeing 787 due to airbus having constant trouble getting anything developed. The 787 is likely to be flying years a head of anything airbus will put out.

If I were to manage a domestic airline, I would choose the Boeing because Boeing has a long and illustrious history of producing long life, operationally efficient aircraft. Airbus makes a good, but not excellent airplane. The reason Airbus Industrie has sold so many planes is because they make them cheaper, and sell them for less, frequentlly taking sales losses in order to be able to make maintenance and parts sales later.

I would choose that which would fit my needs - when I needed it - unfortunately, the A350 right now is a paper airplane - it will emerge into a market saturated with 787s ..

I would choose both because different market can use different aircraft. For B787, I would use on regional routes and thin-long haul routes. For A350, it can replace the original A330 for more efficiency and to long haul with more passengers serving by like a current A340-500 or -600 than the B787

properly even however the smallest variation of the A350 is with reference to a similar length using fact the 787, the A350 is a plenty extra effective airplane ordinary. it could carry extra human beings and its long variety variation is the farthest flying airliner ever made. The Dreamliner looks to have extra useful gasoline economic gadget however.
