My ex an I had a mutual break up. He brought it up the " Im not ready for a serious relationship" break up. I agree with him. I felt he wasnt. But at the same time he told me he didnt want to lose me. So we agreed to stay friends and date. When we were going out, he would always call me or text me around 3pm. The usual.... how are you? I hope your having a great day...and our conversations would last about 8 minutes 10 max. After the "break up" He text me early in the day around 9am. " Hey! Rise and shine I hope your having a great day sweetie. Talk to you later.." I was suprised. Then he calls me later and we spend over a half hour talking. Why? Why are we having a better relationship after the break up and it feels a though we are still together. What do you think is going on in hes head???

He still loves you. But right now freindship serves best!
Do not push it, let it remain. He just needed some freedom to be a man and the space will do you both some good.

Stop trying to confuse the situation.. just let it be. When he sends the text, reply back and say you too honey.

Like I said, he still cares for you BUT for now being friends is best.. enjoy the time apart.. remember that absence makes the heart grow fonder..

It seems like he doesn't want to lose you and still want to show that he cares. i think he may try to prepare himself into a serious relationship while still having you by his side. As long as you feel that he still cares and loves, it's worth waiting and not thinking of so much. It's normal for many people to have a better relationship after they broke up.

Stop taking his calls! Hes a loser! He now wants to be nice because you two are not tied down. With some men who are not ready, relationships scare them. they dont like to be tied down. now that he is free he feels that he can do as he wishes and that makes him more happy to be nicer to you. ALSO!!! he doesnt want you to date others. this is his way of confusing you and keeping you away from other guys. venture out. leave him alone.

Looks like he wants his cake and eat it too. Basically, he wants to date you but needs an "out" clause in case he finds someone better. It would be easier for him to walk away as "you're really not in a relationship". Walk away and I bet you he'll come back on his knees.

Because unless you were calling him your boyfriend at one point, you two never "broke up" to begin with -- all you did was agree to continue dating date. You are over analyzing the situation. Go with the flow.

He still loves you and maybe he needed space , he does not really want to lose you. Do you still love him tell him. If not ask him what does he want. Ask him if hes dating some one else but is torn between you and maybe that some one else... Tell him you don't want to play games with love you want the truth.

I think he finds it easier for the 2 of you communicating like this cause your not in a relationship thats why.

So just see where it takes you.

Good Luck

the pressure of the relationship isnt on his shoulders anymore, and so hes more comfortable and relaxed with the "no relationship, but still good friends" idea. my advice, just give it time, and i think he'll come around when he grows from this experience.

Very simple, jealousy. Dogs pee on trees to mark their territory. You are a tree.
