If all she did was look, then you might have lost her for the moment. maybe someone else has peaked her interest, maybe she's too busy to notice you this week OR maybe last week someone told her that you have a freaky nervous tick so she was staring at you to see if it was true! If you want to try and regain her attention, you should try flirting with her.

she probably has never seen you around school before, and is fascinated by the new face that she sees (and probably finds attractive), so during the first week, she absorbs what she sees. but then as time passes, she isnt as infatuated with you as before. dont worry, its something all girls do...and will continue to do. but if you really want to find out, try talking to her and see if she flirts.
