Yes, but that can cause difficulties, especially if the man is earning less than the woman. It depends on how strong the other aspects of the relationship are, but if the man has a complex about his educational background or earning power, he might not feel comfortable being in such a relationship.

of course, I make quite a bit more than my boyfriend, and we're doing just fine. Just make sure that you don't start using each other. No matter how much money the most paid person in the relationship is making, it would not be a good idea for the other person to quit their job just because they might not need the money.

Well the fact is whether we want to admit it or not, it matters to most people - in a subconcious sort of way. I know plenty of girls that were dumped by men because they made more money, owned their own home and drove nice cars. Money wasn't the driving force in life but for the guys, they felt as if they wouldn't be able to afford them this "type" of life style. It's all ego. If you aren't looking for a sugar daddy/mamma and don't care if your spouse makes more money (confident), then great...but in reality....don't hold your breath.

No, financial income doesnt make a relationship. It would only matter if you both wanted to live the good life.

Of course they can! Money isn't part of the relationship. It just helps out with the materialistic things. The things that make a relationship work you can't buy.

Of course. My mom doesn't work and it doesn't bother my dad.

My girlfriend is still a student while I'm working and it doesn't bother me.

In a couple not everything is related to money.

Certianly. I suppose money matters a bit, but it shouldn't be a big deal at all.
