What a question to ask,
you are stepping on every christians toe in the world by saying that.
Some will say its the word of God...if its the word of God you would have thought he would have written a second book and spoken more clearly. Also there are alot of stories in the bible that just turn me away from wanting the God so many believe in to be my god and the world this god has let form around us shows him as a sadist.
What all powerfull God would let his son endure the pain he did on the cross for our sins...does that make any sense to anyone. Why would any father let their son perish and suffer pain for the sins of others when they being all powerfull had the power to stop it.
Some say Jesus took the pain and had a second life and Jesus lives, I have never seen him on TV or walking down the high street.
The bible is not the word of God it is a collection of stories some may be true but they are then woven in such a way that diffrent interpretations can be taken from them. And those interpretations are the will of the Church and follow what the Church preaches from the book of God or you will go to hell. When if there is a God did he ever say that. Does it say that anywhere in the Bible?
No the Bible isnt a comic (no pictures) it is however a childrens horror book and adults who have read it as children seem to think that they must force it on everybody. That is the mind controll of every religion. The bible does this by horrifying children into thonking if they dont follow what the preachers say is the word of god fire and brimstone will rain down on them and they will go to hell.
Science is showing us that the religions dont add up and the religous are trying to change the concepts religions taught them. They can never admit defeat as they have decieved themselves for so long they feel that if they admit defeat their whole lives will be worthless.
The Bible isnt a comic book but should be made adult only material. That way children will be able to experience life before having it shaped by the words of several diffrent people being taken out of context by people who say it is the word of God.
I was borne a catholic and was preached to at school with the bible, I have grown up and am not afraid to say it is a batch of stories that have meaning. It is not the word of God and Jesus is definately dead.

Do not make fun of anything that you have not understood, my dear friend. Something tells me that you yourself haven't read even a small part of Bible. Bible has been proved to be the most accurate holy book, my friend, what do you say to that? Do not insult it by calling it "comic book" , because throughout the years, it has been a helpful guide for many. Whether you fall into this category or not, is your decision. But no matter, no matter. It is not religions or holy books that determine the character, but the deeds, because God loves you no matter what you believe.

It is a story book, yes, but there is a lot of truth in the bible that can be proved via history, I'm not saying that there is proof of God's existence, although I believe there is, but have you read the real bible, because its very hard to find, what you need to do is take out what man kind has written in his words, the bits where man wants to control and brainwash others, the bits that show how man wants to profit from others, and then your left with the real words of God, mush of these are to with Love, peace, kindness, trust, I think you get the idea, but before you right of the bible, check your facts?

But remember that us Christian ALSO have the Choise in what we believe or not.

I agree there are comical tones. Such as when David cut the hem of garment of the king who was in a cave alone. The only reason a king would be alone in a cave would be to use the loo. But really you should not mock things unknown to you. How do you know which is real and which is not?

I would venture to say, you have never studied the Bible seriously. For your information nothing has ever been proved inaccurate written in the
bible.
the Bible was the first account of the planet being round and spherical suspended in space. It was the first account about deceases associated with filth and body wastes. And above all, every Prophesy has either been fulfilled or is in the process of being fulfilled. Yet many people still want to discount the truth found in the Bible, as a direct result from Satan's ever constant campaign of "the lie".

Comic? Certainly not! I wouldn't think there's anything comic in those tales of horendous massacre, and criminal murder of babes, infants and innocent people that fill the Old Testament, nor in the attrocious tale of hell fire narrated in the New Testament. alan h who thinks the Bible inspired anyone to abolish slavery has not read Exodus 21.

I wouldn't say that it is the biggest selling comic book ever. It is probably best described as the biggest selling history book. That does not mean to say that it is necessarily great; it is open to a lot of mis-interpretation.

It inspired William Wilberforce to fight for the abolition of slavery.
If that is a comic book, let's all laugh together.
