bbq sauce, garlic, chilli sauce and olive oil, mix it up and marinade chicken or steak with it, cook the marinaded meat and boil the remaining marinade on the stove top until it thickens and use as a sauce over the cooked meat .....mmmmmmmm delicious!

Actually I don't marinate steak anymore.
I get it up to room temperature, rub it with garlic salt, let it sit for a few minutes, and grill.
That's ALL.

Olive oil, garlic, soy, white wine or saki, bit of sugar, fresh ginger, chopped scalions; bit of worchestershire sauce and shake of Zatarain's Cajun seasoning sometime red hot or green jalapenon and lime and honey. Depends on my mood.
