Being a christian, I would know My Master's voice. The Bible says Jesus is Our Shepherd and we are His Sheep. And His sheep know His voice and follow Him. The Bible also says that false christs (wolves) will come in sheep's clothing to deceive the many. Discern any preacher, church or anyone with the Word of God. Satan uses people to twist scripture and lure people away from God. When you have a personal relationship with Jesus, you recognize Him and listen to the Holy Spirit who indwells you.

I would define him by his actions, not by his appearing. Religion is the most common excuse for murder these days that his appearance is entirely improbable. Once the first time the word infidel was uttered would be the time to have appeared. If his actions include murdering as before, then let me be murdered as I do not condone such totalitarian actions.
