Can you get throat cancer from smoking too much weed? If not then why does my throat hurt after doing it?

Why don't you just stop and find a new extra-curricular activity that doesn't hurt so much?

I'm not an expert in smking weed, but i do smoke cigarretes, and i had that problem at the beggining. Weed is less harmful than cigarrettes, but i dont think it causes throat cancer, unless you smoke all day for years.
And if your throat hurts, it may be because you're inhaling wrong. try to block the smoke rom going into your throat and let it go through your nose.
if you use your mouth youre letting most of that smoke go somewhere else besides your lungs.

I'm not sure if it causes cancer or not. I think the problem with the cigarettes is all the crud in them. However, your throat hurts because you are inhaling hot gases into something that was never intended to have anythnig in it warmer than 98.6F.

Over time you can do damage to the cells that line your throat and if some of them should be damaged in such a manner that they replicate uncontrollably - thats a form of cancer. So if there are components of marijuana smoke that are as bad for you as some of the components of tobacco smoke - yes, it could cause cancer.
