Are you the body, or are you the life or light {Consciousness} in the body? Who knows this? When do you know this? This is a good place to begin, is it not? This light can only be pointed at by another, you are the one that has to know this, live this, for you are life.

I am the one who uses consciousness, whether in the form of a physical body or ray of light. I am not the light, but the light is what I am. I am the 'another that points the light'.

Life is simply metabolism.
Consciousness is nothing more than the nerve-impulses of the nervous system. You cannot separate consciousness from the body.
In short, I am my mind and body because they're roughly the same -- the mnd is the software that runs on the hardware of the body.
-------------
I have had a near-death experience and multipe out-of-body experiences. These neurological states are well known and research on them is well past the formative states of the science. The NDE and OBE phenomenon are insufficient evidence of separate consciousness.

The most hellish of places become tranquil and serene when enlightenment is realised, emotions are negated, substituted for everlasting bliss, desires are banished as contentment is found, phenomena come and go, but the enlightened monk shall sit, unmoving like a tree rooted well, it can survive even the harshest of storms.. so who wouldn't wish for that?
Search and you will find, abandon all searching and predispositions, effort and opinion and you will surely discover the light. It'll become brighter each time vexation is removed. Meditation guides, focuses and stills the mind, peace binds the universe.
Oh and do not begin, creation leads to wrong views and clinging which ultimately lead to suffering and rebirth- cease, control and centre yourself. When you see enlightenment do NOT grasp to it, as that is like trying to hold a flame with your bare hands.

I'm here! and in good company to say the least! all of you seem to be brilliant minds! "like produces, cures, and attracts like" in my perception all of you are soldiers of god! "Love is all i am, all i got, and all i want! and threes your proof to the cause! so please don't think to rearrange your thoughts for the cause of someones effect, that seems to tell me it's in just and far from whats best of our conscientious existence and minds attempt to realize it's utterly useless to suffer from the very greed we've beset. Envy is jealousy's best friend and 1 of the 7 deadly sins. 27yrs of my minds restless fears and many shed tears condemned by confusion held within, only now to be released with liberation from tribulations along with an intuition and creation which stems from the hearts of men in our nations diligent hope and search for salvation".. An ending to one of my many poems or whatever you would call them by, (sonnet to salvation) if i thought i was going to be inspired i would of typed the entire piece! P.S i mean no disrespect to any of you magnificent mental beings by projecting what's ... whatever ,you feel me! ONE MIND with 6 billion particles intertwined 2 one day be aligned by eternal life!
