How Do I Introduce My Self To A Girl?

Theres a girl that i really like that goes to my school, that is in 1 grade lower than me, its kinda weird talking to people in lower grades randomly..
I've known her over IM for years, know what she looks like goes to my school too
So how should i introduce my self and when would be a good time, i'd perfer it when people aren't around

try going up to her without a crowd, because she might feel awkward if in a group. When approaching her, ask to use something ...like a pen , something small. and say oh by the way my name is ....so and so , that should strike up a convo. If u dont want to do that, you could do it rightr after school . i have other ideas if those are too boring

just walk up to her and say "hi my name is ______. hows it going? you know we have IM ed before. yeah I'm the one that said ______. remember? so ....................." the most important thing is to be casual. so you like her? so what? all you are doing is meeting someone new! don't lay a line on her and don't try to be funny. just be however you are when you are with your friends. and don't ask her out!!! remember you are just introducing your self as a potential friend, you'll have to earn the "maybe more than friends" status later.

maybe you need to find out what that girl characteristics are....usualy girls like if a guy introduce himself to them (girls) because they won't feel alone...that's what girl usualy feel,alone if she doesn't have more friends....the more friends that she know the happier they are....when u've found out how she is,you can follow her quietly,when she's alone, you come to her and say something good about her (that's why you need to know what is the good thing of her) for example she is good at playing guitar then you can say : "hi are you ..... ?I heard that you're good at guitar,bla bla bla..." then if you open the conversation like that,she will ask your name and you can introduce yourself to her....don't be shy...girls are nice =)
