My wife loves New York, so I took her there for a week. Every night I kept telling her that I liked NY too, but you couldn't see the stars the way I liked. One night we went to a nice restaurant, took in a Broadway show, and went on a late night carriage ride through Central Park. The whole time I kept looking up at the sky and saying that there needed to be more stars. Then, during the ride, I pulled out the ring, said "Let's add a few more." She was shocked. We stopped the carriage, I took a knee, and asked her to be my wife. That was almost two years ago and she STILL talks about it.

First of all, congrats! Some suggestions I have are below:

1) Where was your first date? Perhaps you relive that moment and propose to him/her then.
2) Does he/she have any specific hobbies? For instance, I know one guy who proposed to his future wife in front a crowd of people before the Empire State Building in NYC. He knew it would be the perfect time to do it because she loves sightseeing.
3) Or, you can do things quietly and intimately. Make her dinner or pack a picnic lunch at her favorite spot. Then, write a poem/song and recite it to her. And last, but certianly not least, present the ring.
4) Take your significant other to her favorite artist's concert (if she is a music lover, of course), and somehow (though this may be difficult and will require a lot of persistence) propose to her on stage.

It would help if you briefly described some of your significant other's hobbies or most cherished memories (even her memories from childhood). I'm saying this because if you incorporate the things she holds dear to her heart into your proposal, you reflect your appreciation for the amazing person she is. That is perhaps the most important key in making your proposal to her sincere and romantic.

Too many ways to pick just one. You need to keep in mind what special times there are in her life or special places and maybe center your timing around that. One guy had a commercial air with the proposal. You could YouTube her. You could simply take her to dinner and ask her. You could go out with several of your closest friends and just take a moment to spring the question on her in front of the friends. You could have a fortune cookie made with the question inside. You could have the waiter give her the check and have the question on the check so that when she looks up at you, you present the ring. So many ways. Be creative. In any case, she will be surprised. good luck.

Surprises always come with romance, prepare a dinner yr self invite her over. If she asked what the occasion, just said i learn a new dish and wanted u to try.

After take a ride to the beach, make sure that she is blind folded when u do this, using candles make a heart and buried the ring box under a candle and the ring with u, and tell her that under one of this candle is a very special gift for u, ask her to look for it, while she is looking be sure u have a bouquet of flowers ready. when she found the ring box she will be very excited. walk to her as she look up at u, asked her to open the box and when she did look at her expression, she will looked disappointed at the time present her the flower and said awwwwwww i forgot the ring u hold her hand and knelt down and present the ring and said sorry love will u marry me?

PS don't forget champagne and glasses

Well of course by now you should really know what she loves to do so whatever she loves to do, do that with her all day and then when she least expects it pop the question. That way she had the time of her life ALL day and then at the last second of the day she is overjoyed by the sound of the man she loves asking her to marry him!! Then after all that go watch the sunset together, that would make that very special day even better, well that is my opinion anyway!!
Good Luck with the proposal and
God Bless!!!!!

don't give away any hints! as long as the feeling is right, it doesn't matter if it is at night, afternoon, or morning. You can enhance the mood by taking her to dinner, taking a stroll afterwards with the stars out, and then pop the question. Daytime proposal is nice too, take her on a picnic date, and pop the question to her there.

there are literally millions of ways to do it, but make it significant. Do it on a anniversary day, or somewhere you took her on your first date, or you can take her to Vegas....and marry her on the spot with Elvis singing in the background!!!

Most of all, make it memorable.

If you're dining in a fancy restaurant, ask the wait staff to write, "Will you marry me?" in chocolate sauce around the rim of his or her dessert plate.

Then when she looks up, be on one knee beside her chair with the ring box in hand.

Voila!
