You can press ctrl+alt+del to see if it is still running in the background.
If so:
On desktop open "my computer". Go to drive C (if that is your main hard drive). Look for any Limewire files there. If you see none, open "program files". Once you find it or a folder/s relating to it, right click and delete the files.
If you find no related files AND it is not running in the background, you should probably be able to just remove the icon because the program is already gone. To remove the icon from your start menu Start>Settings>Taskbar/Start Menu; click on "start menu programs" tab and then click on "remove" and follow procedure to remove unwanted icons. To remove from your desktop, right click and delete.

You have already removed limewire. Just drag the icon to the trash forgetting all the messages. Its already gone!

go to add remove programs
then look for limewire, double click it then follow the instructions

go to "my computer" then click on "settings" then click on "add/remove programs" then search for limewire, then click "remove limewire". should take care of the problem. if not, call your local police dept for tech support.

just click start, search all files/folders and type limewire. when its done scanning delete all limewire files. on top click edit, select all then hit delete key to right of the enter key.

once you acquire from limewire songs bypass into the 'shared' folder (in records and settings), except you have been able to alter this on set up. i'm useful deleting limewire won't do away with the songs, yet merely to be on the secure edge, you may desire to first circulate the songs to a distinctive folder

have u tried rebooting your computer? if not, did you uninstall it already and did it say= Limewire was uninstalled succesfully?
